Location : Montreal, Canada

Constructed Area : 900 m2

Completion 2005

This 900m2 luxury home was designed in response to its forested cliff-side site and the owner’s desire to host large family gatherings and ski weekends. The freestanding fireplace with wrap around stone bench is a central gathering space for family and friends. The form of the house is derived from the concept of an upturned boat hull, supported by a structure of BC fir timbers.
