Concept Development Stage

“Wind in the air, Flowers in the garden, Snow on the mountains, Moon on the lake – these words, taken from an ancient Dali poem, define the essence of this design to make a luxury hotel as a series of nine private villa courtyards, each with its own distinctive spatial, decorative and landscaping theme. Dali is a stunning town, flanked by Changshan Mountain on one side and Erhai Lake on the other, and part of this design employs “Skylifts“- glass observation towers that rise up out of each courtyard villa to provide views that make the abovementioned poem visible.
